CamHealth® Hazardous Substance Management
Hazardous Substance Management enables every employer to comply with the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (Amendment) Regulations (2004) (COSHH) and to minimise the substantial time, effort and cost spent in controlling the management and information handling implications of hazardous substances.
The system provides a complete Hazardous Substance management system that reflects all major and minor changes in legislation and practice and will make a significant contribution to the profitability of the organisation through the routine identification and control of risks to health, safety and environment. Links to existing corporate systems eliminate the need for costly duplication of data.
It includes a comprehensive Hazardous Substance Database, compatible with REACH, (permitting production of an inventory of all hazardous substances received, stored, used or produced in the organisation). Users are also able to adopt their own classifications of substances and store their own hazard descriptions.
Other features include a Work Activities Database, Control Measures Register, Safety Equipment Register, Exposure Monitoring, Health Surveillance and Risk Assessments.
