CamHealth® Exposure Monitoring
CamHealth® Exposure Monitoring facilities are provided as part of the Hazardous Substance Management facilities of CamHealth®. These enable organisations to collect analyse and store accurate data during the measurement of actual/potential exposure to hazardous substances and thereby ensure legislative compliance, improved control of health hazards and better management of resources. The data collected is of significant value in current and future epidemiological studies.
Applicable regulations and standards include:
- The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (Amendment) Regulations (2004) (COSHH)
- Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (REACH) as amended by Regulation (EU) No 453/2019
- European Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 on Classification, Labelling & Packaging of Substances & Mixtures (CLP Regulation)
CamHealth Exposure Monitoring integrates with other CamHealth systems, such as Environmental Management, COSHH, SDS, Noise and Occupational Health.
The CamHealth Exposure Monitoring module supports any type of monitoring study, from one-off events to major long-term studies, as well as any type of monitoring procedure including area monitoring, personal exposure monitoring and biological monitoring.
The system displays an automatic warning of potential over exposure.
Comprehensive Search facilities permit the rapid location of specific studies and groups of studies by authorised users.
Users can retrieve and print out reports on Exposure Monitoring, Hazards Monitoring Results, Employee Monitoring Results, Work Activity Monitoring, Measured Concentrations Statistics and Study Details.
Using secure means of access, the complete data set or selected values may be readily extracted into any of the commonly used third party statistical analysis tools for detailed investigation and examination.
Furthermore, the CamHealth® database structure means that any set of monitoring results may be readily compared and contrasted with health effects monitored through the CamHealth® Occupational Health Management module to determine whether or not a statistical relationship exists.
